Account

How do I create an account?

Download Happie from the App Store and tap 'Sign Up'. Enter your email address, create a password, and you're ready to go. You can also add your name and profile photo later.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the sign-in screen, tap 'Forgot Password?' and enter your email address. You'll receive a link to reset your password. Check your spam folder if you don't see the email.

How do I change my name or profile photo?

Go to the Profile tab, tap on your name or photo to edit it. Changes are saved automatically.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → scroll down to 'Delete Account'. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Groups

How do I create a new group?

On the Groups screen, tap 'Create Group', give your group a name, and tap 'Create'. You'll receive a unique join code that you can share with others.

How do I join an existing group?

Tap 'Join Group' and enter the join code shared by the group creator. You'll be added to the group instantly.

Where do I find my group's join code?

Open your group and look for the join code displayed near the top. You can tap it to copy and share it with others.

How do I leave a group?

Open the group, tap the settings icon, and select 'Leave Group'. You'll be removed from the group immediately.

Can I be in multiple groups?

Yes! You can create or join as many groups as you want. This is great if you have different groups for family, roommates, or friends.

Meal Voting

How does voting work?

When a voting round starts, swipe right on meals you'd eat and left on meals you wouldn't. The group's most popular choices will appear at the top.

Can I change my vote?

Currently, votes cannot be changed once cast. A new voting round resets all votes.

When do voting results appear?

Results appear in real-time as group members vote. The top 3 meals are shown with their vote counts.

Data & Privacy

What data does Happie collect?

We collect your email address (for account authentication), display name, and meal preferences. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting your account removes all your data. Go to Profile → Delete Account. Your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard security measures and encrypted connections. Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers.
